Telspace 2015: a Year of Astounding Growth - People and Places, Product and Influence

As the year draws to a close, Telspace Systems would like to take this time to reflect. It’s been a phenomenal time of growth for us.

We’d like to thank you for being a part of it.

People and Places

Telspace is now the largest, independently owned, 100% South African pen-testing company.

We’ve also expanded our reach into new areas. To care for these new companies, we’ve brought in local expertise. We recognize our presence is key to incident response and vital to service.

Telspace is now on 5 continents.

We not only serve companies across Africa, but we’re also protecting assets and infrastructure in South America, North America, Europe and Asia.

Some of the cities where you could find Telspace working during 2015:

·          Johannesburg Durban, Bloemfontein and Cape Town, South Africa
·          Gaborone, Botswana
·          Windhoek, Namibia
·          Ebene, Mauritius
·          Harare, Zimbabwe
·          Kampala, Uganda
·          Mbabane, Swaziland
·          Washington, Maryland, Virginia, Baltimore, USA
·          London and Manchester, UK
·          Sulaymaniyah, Northern Iraq
·          Recife, Brazil

And there are many more. We love what we do.

A little over a month ago, Telspace released Managed Vulnerability Scanning (MVS) —a combined scanning tool, customer interface and managed service.

MVS protects servers, systems and customer networks on demand. It offers threat-specific monitoring and detection capabilities.

Monitoring, managing and troubleshooting large-scale networks is the hot topic for developers.

Not only for Telspace, but giants like Facebook, Netflix, Brocade, Cisco are focusing development dollars and resources on these verticals. You can find out more at https://www.mvs.io .

Telspace spoke at over a dozen events this year, adding our voice to the direction IT Security is moving in South Africa.

We presented to global leaders in government, military, finance, and cyber security colleagues on strategies and advances in detection and monitoring.

We also presented to the next generation of IT security specialists—something we take great pride in.

Conferences in South Africa and Africa included:

·        CyberCon 2015 – Speakers, Sponsors and Exhibitors
·        Cyber Security in Banking 2015 – Speakers
·        2nd Annual African Cyber Conference (Gaborone, Botswana) 2015 – Speakers

·        ITWeb Security Summit 2015 – Speakers, Sponsors and Exhibitors
